Millennium mentors BBC presenter Ed George to win Children In Need 'Stars In Their Eyes'!
Our very own Matthew Holbrook (aka Millennium) was pleased to help out for this worthy cause when the request came in to Dansatak for his expertise! The mission - to help BBC Radio Derby's afternoon show host, Ed George, transform himself into Robbie Williams for a special Children in Need challenge!
The result - an emphatic win for Ed George in front of the nation and judges who included amongst others Robbie's long time friend Jonathan Wilkes!
Millennium - the No.1 Robbie Williams Tribute in the UK - gave his assistance, pointers, fake tatoo's, and even his 'Let Me Entertain You' catsuit that was used for the BBC's 'The One & Only' trailors for Ed's performance when they rehearsed at the BBC Studios recently. The aim was to help Ed emulate Robbies moves and mannerisms for the 'Stars In Their Eyes' style performance which was broadcast live nationally on Friday 14th November'08, from The Westfield Centre, Derby.
Matthew was himself in attendance on the evening and said 'I'm so pleased Ed won. He looked the biz in the costume with his face paint on. Amongst other things, I'd told him to do the 'crazy charlston' moves and 'walking the dog' towards the end of the song and to look directly at Jonathan Wilkes when he did. It worked a treat, so much so Jonathan even joined in.'
Ed beat fellow broadcasters, Des Coleman, Tony Wadsworth and Frances Finn, with Children In Need raising over £20,000,000!

The Silver Disc to celebrate sales of 'The Very Best of The Searchers' has meant far more to Mike than the others coming as it does at this stage in his long consistent career, prompting Mike to remark - "It just shows - you should never give up".

Westlives meet Westlife and perform on ITV1!
The Westlife tribute band WESTLIVES appeared on ITV1’s Saturday night special ‘The Westlife Show: Live’ along with the real boys themselves!
There aren’t many occassions that a tribute act can say they not only met their idols but performed on the same show – but this is one of them!
The researchers for the prime time show scoured the UK for the No.1 tribute to the boys before emphatically deciding that the best was Dansatak’s own WESTLIVES!
Westlives took part in a surprise for a superfan who was taken by her fiance on the premise she was going to see the tribute band perform at the Brafield Working Men's Club near Northampton. Little did she know that the venue had been set up and taken over by the ITV camera crew to form part of the footage for the Saturday night special. On arrival she was told that the crew were there to film a documentary about the tribute band, but little did she know that half way through Westlives performing a song, that the real Westlife would walk out singing the same song to surprise her. Her screams of shock and delight were a joy to behold!
The Westlife Show: Live aired at 6.15pm on Saturday 15th December’07 on ITV1. The show was a colourful celebration of the boy band’s hits spanning their record-breaking career and - for one night only – the public got to choose many of the songs they performed live to the nation.
Out of the 10 tracks Shane, Kian, Mark and Nicky sang on the night, five were the top tracks voted for online by their fans from all 14 of Westlife’s No. 1 singles. No surprise for guessing the winning song.…Flying Without Wings!
