Suzanne Mellard would probably quote Mark Murphy as being her greatest influence, alongside Kurt Elling and Betty Carter.

Suzannes’ first quartet was formed in the nineties playing standards with modern arrangements. Since then has fronted everything from trios up to Big Bands, played Jazz Clubs and concerts all over the U.K.
